in partnership with LITRAX Switzerland, an acknowledged expert in the market for natural fiber and particle technology, Märkische Faser has created another new development within the line “specialty fibers”
The LITRAX "L2 THERMO" fiber is a technologically sophisticated product that has, in conjunction with pyrolyzed organic particles, a high isolation.
The "L2 THERMO" is available as normal staple fibre with 1.7dtex 40mm or 2.4dtex 88mm (if needed the development of other cut lengths and also tow is possible)
In addition, the fiber will also be available as a modified, multilobale profile fiber which has in combination with high isolation the ability to prevent condensation.
An excellent moisture transport associated with thermal balance of the body temperature allows unprecedented potential for maximum performance in sports and outdoor activities especially in case of sudden climate changes.
The "L2 THERMO" multilobal fibers allow condensation moisture to get within a few milliseconds directly to the surface. Thus, the negative effects of sweat, condensation and humidity can be reduced significantly.
By combining with other fibers (eg wool, cotton, silk) a high wearing comfort combined with pleasant isolation and dry feeling on the skin can be achieved.
This high-performance product was developed for different applications. It is suitabal for filling (winter jackets, mattresses, bed linen) as well as for underwear (with cotton) or outdoor and sports casual clothing and also ideal for absorption.
The "L2 THERMO is an ideal product for wind breaker isolation. But it offers much more than just heat capacity, the additional UV-protection by the pyrolyzed particles makes this product, eg in combination with Tencel, ideal for working-, winter and summer clothing.
